Summer Camp
We would like to invite you to attend the Frederick County 4-H Camping Program. We offer day and residential camping programs at the Frederick County 4-H Camp and Activities Center near Jefferson, Maryland. The 4-H Camping program represents decades of 4-H outdoor education in Frederick County, and continues to expand. As an accredited camp of the American Camping Association (ACA), Frederick County 4-H offers one of the best camping programs in Frederick County. Accreditation with ACA requires the Frederick County 4-H Program to meet and maintain a higher standard of education and safety for campers. Campers have the opportunity to attend Day Camp and/or Residential Camp if they choose!
Day Camp will be offered one week
Residential Camp (overnight camp) will be offered one week
Clover Camp will be offered for three days
* Ages for Camp are determined by age as of July 1st of the current camp year. Space is limited so register early (Residential Camp sold out last year)!
Camper registrations are made online, see link below. Once registration is received we will email required paperwork: Health form, Code of Conduct (to be signed by the camper and the parent/guardian as confirmation that your have talked with your camper about behavior at camp), Parental Release, Sunscreen Authorization and Camper Check-Out form for completion. All paperwork must be original forms, sorry no emailed or faxed paperwork allowed. Only youth with all paperwork completed and payment received will be confirmed and able to attend camp.
